We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred dates, as the villa is in high demand. Walk-ins are not possible as the property is a whole-exclusive rental — no other guests are on-site during your stay, so we require confirmed bookings and coordination beforehand.
Yes. Salud by the Lake is booked as a whole-property exclusive rental. The entire villa — including all pools, living areas, dining spaces, and outdoor terraces — belongs entirely to your group from check-in to check-out. No other guests share any part of the property during your stay.
Sunset at Salud is exceptional. The villa is positioned on a hilltop facing Taal Lake and the volcanic mountain, which means the entire western sky turns golden directly over the water. From the pool deck or through the floor-to-ceiling glass walls of the living area, guests see the lake transition from blue to amber to deep rose as the light fades. Many guests say it is the single most memorable moment of their stay.
The villa accommodates a maximum of 10 guests — up to 7 adults and 3 children. This makes it ideal for families, friend groups, and couples retreating together. If you have any questions about group configuration or sleeping arrangements, message us directly before booking.
Yes. The villa is well-suited to intimate private events such as birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, and small celebrations. Given the exclusive whole-property arrangement and the dramatic setting above Taal Lake, it makes for an unforgettable venue. Standard check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability — if you need flexibility, let us know when you make your booking and we will try to accommodate where possible.
Mataas Na Kahoy is located in Batangas, approximately 2 to 3 hours from Metro Manila by private vehicle depending on traffic. The South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) is the primary route. Once you confirm your booking with us, we will provide exact navigation coordinates and directions for the approach to the property. Private vehicle is strongly recommended as the villa is on a hilltop access road.
